Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 9, 2026
This document is a general template intended to give clients and visitors a clear summary of how we handle personal information. It is not a substitute for advice from a qualified lawyer, and Ileventech recommends having it reviewed by legal counsel for your specific jurisdiction (e.g. NDPR in Nigeria or UK GDPR) before relying on it as a complete compliance document.
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Ileventech (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit our website, submit an inquiry, engage us for a project, or use our client subscription portal.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly:
- Contact details submitted through our contact, consultation, or career forms — name, email, phone, company, and message content;
- Business name and email address when you subscribe to a monthly management plan;
- Career application materials, including your resume, if you apply for a role with us;
- Payment and billing information, which is collected and processed directly by our billing providers (RevenueCat and Paddle) — we do not receive or store your full card details.
Information collected automatically:
- Basic analytics data — pages viewed, referring site, approximate location (country/region/city derived from IP address), device/browser information, and an anonymous visitor identifier;
- Standard server logs maintained by our hosting provider.
We do not knowingly collect more information than is necessary to operate our website and provide our services, and we do not use third-party advertising trackers or sell data to ad networks.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To respond to inquiries and provide requested consultations or quotes;
- To deliver and manage the digital services and subscription plans you purchase;
- To send transactional emails, such as sign-in codes and payment receipts;
- To maintain the security of the client portal and prevent fraud or unauthorized access;
- To understand aggregate website usage and improve our content and services;
- To comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
4. Cookies & Local Storage
We use minimal, functional local storage — for example, to generate an anonymous visitor identifier for analytics and to keep you signed in to the client portal. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Traffic from local development environments is automatically excluded from our analytics.
5. Third-Party Service Providers
We share information only with service providers who help us operate our website and services, including:
- Supabase — database hosting, authentication, and secure storage of form submissions and account data;
- RevenueCat & Paddle — subscription and payment processing for monthly management plans (Paddle acts as merchant of record for these transactions);
- Resend — delivery of transactional emails, including client portal sign-in codes;
- Google — display of aggregated Google Reviews via the Places API;
- Vercel — website hosting and infrastructure.
Each of these providers processes data under their own privacy and security terms. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
6. Data Retention
We retain contact form and consultation submissions, career applications, and account data for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law (for example, billing records for tax purposes). Client portal sign-in codes are single-use and expire automatically within minutes.
7. Data Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including access-restricted databases, encrypted data in transit, and hashed (never plain-text) storage of sign-in codes. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@ileventech.com and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
9. Children's Privacy
Our Services are intended for businesses and individuals over the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. International Data Transfers
As we and our service providers operate internationally, your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on the safeguards provided by our service providers' own compliance frameworks for such transfers.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated “Last updated” date on this page.
