NewsDrop.ng needed a modern digital news platform that would stand out in a highly competitive media landscape. How we solved it
The objective was to create a professional digital publication that combines editorial excellence with a modern user experience. We designed a clean visual identity to enhance readability and reduce distractions, built around clear visual hierarchy, featured headline sections, breaking news visibility, and optimised reading layouts. The homepage was designed to immediately surface the most important stories. The WordPress backend was customised to provide a streamlined publishing experience for editors and content managers, including easy article creation, category management, featured content controls, and scheduled publishing.
What we delivered
Rather than relying on a pre-built WordPress theme, we designed the platform from the ground up with a custom UI/UX strategy focused on readability, engagement, and scalability. We analysed leading local and international news platforms to understand reader behaviour, content consumption patterns, and navigation preferences before crafting the final solution.
